WHAT IS TWIST?

TWIST: because the blockchain should be accessible

TWIST is a platform and ecosystem that will revolutionise the usability and accessibility of the blockchain.

On February 07 2018, we announced the new crypto-currency TWIST on the bitcointalk forum. We advertised an airdrop, offering the opportunity for bitcointalk members with an activity score higher than 15 to register and receive free TWIST coins. One week later the airdrop registrations were closed and we announced the news that a staggering 1938 accounts had signed up to receive coins. Not bad for a week. The following day, 85% of the supply was equally distributed among all the registrants of the airdrop, ensuring a fair and equal allocation of coins. The remaining 15% of the supply was reserved to fund development and pay for a bounty program to help involve and expand the community.

The TWIST project has been gaining more traction every day and there has been an overwhelming amount of support from the community who share our vision of a more accessible blockchain. We’re all aware that the next technological revolution revolves around the adoption and integration of blockchain technology into our current systems. TWIST aims to bridge the gap and provide quick, simple, and easy access to the blockchain. With its intended adoption as a core platform for everyday users, programmers and corporations, we feel that TWIST will continue to grow and possess a strong market presence.

The team have released the first set of bounties, which focus on translations, with more planned to be announced soon. The development of the TWISTtoolbox is currently underway with a focus on our first innovation: TWIST ID. More information about the toolbox and TWIST ID is to be revealed soon. We are also in discussions with exchanges to have the first official listing of the coin.

As the community is aware, the project is development driven; the development team will always prioritise the technology over marketing and let our progress do the talking! However, marketing is also an important aspect and this is where we hope to encourage the community to get involved with the project. This can simply be through following and sharing our social media channels or posting your own creative digital artwork in the marketing discord channel.
